Longitude debuted last year to a sold-out crowd during one of the warmest weekends of the year and 2014 is shaping up to be just as good.

Organisers of the boutique festival in Dublin's Marlay Park have announced additional acts taking to the stage this summer from July 18-20th.

Eternally soulful singer James Vincent McMorrow, Bastille, Haim, Le Galaxie and Hozier are just some of the bands joining headliners Disclosure and Ben Howard this summer.

Concert promoters MCD have revealed the extended line-up today with Chvrches, Sam Smith, Bonobo, Cyril Hahn, Julio Bashmore, Bondax and Roosevelt completeing the announcement.

More bands will be unveiled on February 6th.

Tickets for Longitude go on sale Friday February 7th at 9am, and will be available from usual outlets.

Longitude runs in correlation with its UK sister festival Latitude.

Last year's inaugural show proved a hit with festival goers, selling out its 10,000 ticket capacity each day over the weekend, which will also be remembered for being one of the warmest in recent memory.
