Listen: 'I'll smack you in the ear' - lovely moment Mrs Brown super-fan with special needs banters with Brendan O'Carroll
Brendan O'Carroll continued to show us he's a class act by sharing a moment with a massive fan.
The Mrs Brown's Boys creator was chatting to Joe Duffy on Liveline this afternoon when he was introduced to Jean Fenton, who has special needs.
Jean (38) watches the show every day and goes to bed smiling afterwards, her mother Anne told Liveline.
"You've brought such joy into her life," Anne told Brendan on the RTE Radio One show.
"When Jean had two hip replacements in 2011, the first thing she looked for was a tablet and Brendan O'Carroll."
Jean herself was delighted to chat with Brendan, who took on Mrs Brown's character during their conversation.
"Thank you very much for watching me for half an hour before bed. Go to sleep for God's sake," O'Carroll joked.
"I'll give you a smack in the ear," Jean responded after imitating Mrs Brown's trademark laugh.
Jean also asked her idol how his wife was, and she said Rory makes her laugh.

Earlier in the show, the comedian hit back at critics here who he says have subjected his show Mrs Brown’s Boys to ‘hurtful’ criticism.
He said one critic wrote recently: "I’d rather throw myself on top of a funeral pyre than watch Mrs Brown’s Boys." Other critics have called fans of his show "idiots".
“Some of it is hurtful but some of it is very annoying,” O'Carroll said.
“To take 11.8 million people (the viewers) and call them idiots is insulting.”
