Gift Grub packed a particularly funny punch this morning on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show on Today FM as the topic of the UK election was discussed.

The Grub crew of Louis Walsh, Enda Kenny, Joan Burton, Willie O'Dea and Gerry Adams were all called upon to give their opinions on the candidates and the outcome.

An excited Louis launched in with, "There atmosphere is incredible!  We're down to the last four.  I'm telling everybody to vote. But don't pick up the phone, get to the booth."

He added, "Cameron, Clegg, they've been together 5 years.  I think they're going to split up.

"Milliband is a great name!  It reminds me of a tiny pop group!"

A sombre Enda Kenny followed.

"I certainly would not support the present incumbent government who, five years ago, you'll remember promised to change politics in Britain completely yet all they've delivered is pain, recession and broken promises!" he said.

"Quite frankly they're a disgrace and I hope the British public see through them."

Of Cameron, he said, "Give me a break about Cameron will ya with his 'man of the people' schtick.  Oh look at me I'm in the papers pretending to be down with the kids.  Oh yeah, I love sport.  Anybody want a selfie?  The man's a joke Ian.  We all laugh at him in Europe."

Joan Burton went on to attack the Liberal Democrats who she said make her "puke".  Willie O'Dea took a pop at Miliband and Gerry Adams rounded out the chat by saying "none of the established parties will get my vote".
