She has a new music show in the works.

Irish DJ Louise Duffy has said she is happy that she left her day-time radio show, admitting it wasn't her "natural habitat."

The Today FM presenter hosted the Louise Duffy Show in the afternoon, but now she is moving to a music show in the evenings.

The wife of former Kerry GAA star Paul Galvin, Louise said she's "really looking forward" to her new show.

"It's starting on Monday week, 7pm to 9pm so I'm really looking forward to starting that," she told The Irish Daily Star at the Galway Races, where she was a judge for the Best Dressed Ladies Day competition.

"I'm so passionate about music and this gives me the opportunity to delve into it a little bit more because when you're in a day-time slot you have to be a little more restrictive."
