George Hook cancels retirement plans
Radio pundit George Hook has cancelled his plans to retire.
The popular host has announced that he has put his retirement plans back until 1 October 2016.
Speaking on The Right Hook today, he said he had spoken with his wife about his planned retirement and that they both agreed they could not have him “knocking around the house.”
"The position is I've cancelled my retirement...I'm not going to retire," he said.
Tweeting earlier today, Hook said he’d a “major announcement” to make about his future.
Shortly afterwards he posted : “I have cancelled my retirement - Ingrid has told me she is not prepared to have me knocking around the house all day so I will work forever.”
