THE countdown for One Direction to return to Ireland has already begun and the boys themselves are looking forward to a typical Irish breakfast when they arrive as part of their 2014 'Where We Are' world tour.
Niall Horan may be used to traditional Irish food, and it seems his band mates can't get enough either.
Singer Liam Payne admitted his one weakness when it comes to the Emerald Isle.
“The best thing to come out of Ireland is Irish sausages," he said.
“When we first got together as a band all that Niall would tell us about Ireland is that Irish sausages are the best."
The group will play in Dublin's Croke Park on May 24, with tickets going on sale later this month.
During their news conference where they revealed details of next years tour, Horan confirmed that fans can also expect another album for the set list, a record that will be "edgier".
One Direction are due to fly out to Zurich this evening and left Wembley Stadium, where the tour announcement took place, after a quick game of football on the famous pitch this afternoon.
The 'Up All Night' singers got kitted out in jerseys, with Horan deciding to wear an Irish rugby shirt.
