Nidge faces new enemy ... Downton's Lady Mary
IT will be the moment when Love/Hate's Nidge has a face off with Downton's Lady Mary.
The hit gangster series is going head to head with the glamourous period drama on Sunday night TV.
This autumn the hugely popular RTE drama will face stiff competition from Downton Abbey.
The fourth series of the Stuart Carolan show is due to return to RTE screens in early October.

However, there are fears that Dublin's inner city gangsters could meet their match with the upmarket aristocrats and servants in Downton.
The final episode in 2012 drew nearly a million viewers as leading man Robert Sheehan's character Darren was shot. And we will have to wait to find out Darren's fate after Robert was spotted on the Love/Hate set during filming in the summer.
An RTE spokeswoman refused to confirm a reported October 6 date for Love/Hate returning to Irish TV screens -- but the series is sure to have hot competition from the popular Downton Abbey.
The new season of the RTE series will see Tony-winning actor, Brian F O'Byrne, playing Detective Mick Moynihan, heading up a team attempting to take down Nidge.
