My perfect weekend: Aoibhinn McGinnity

The plan for Saturday night?

Meeting my friends for a mini-cruise on the Shannon. It should be a great weekend I'm really looking forward to seeing my mates again.

Last weekend?

Nothing this weekend. But last week, I saw Dead Cat Bounce live. Great fun. I was laughing all the way home.

Pub/club/restaurant you couldn't live without?

I like the Market Bar. As for clubbing ... house parties can be better. Everyone sticks together and you can pick the music.

Best weekend ever?

Oh, there are so many to chose from. I love when family and friends come together for a special occasion. Usually, it turns into a guitar session.

Worst weekend ever?

I hate when it rains. That can really ruin things.

Pre-going out ritual?

Getting ready with my girlfriends at home and taking ages. Sometimes it's the best part of the night.

Favourite post-pub munchies?

Whatever temptation is there at the time. People aren't fussy at that hour!

Weirdest taxi-queue moments?

Nothing weird has ever happened to me, though you do meet some annoying types. It always seems to happen when you are freezing, too.

Best chat-up line at 2am?

Chat-up lines are usually a bit cringe-worthy at any time of the night. Not for me.

Perfect date ?

I would love to go on a date with somebody amazing.
