Fans from across the globe are expected to snap up tickets when they go on sale next week, with many fondly recalling his last Irish performance 17 years ago.

A BRIDE-to-be is planning a Garth Brooks themed wedding.

Leighann Riordan, from Ballyvolane in Cork, is due to marry fiancé Graham O’Connor on July 25th.

Leighann is a massive Brooks fan – and so it appears are most of her wedding guests.

In fact if Leighann wasn't getting wed, she would making the journey to Croke Park herself.

Already friends have been contacting her double checking the dates - and asking if she could change them.

Already 40 people - many tongue-in-cheek - have contacted the bride-to-be to tell her they can’t make it to her big day as they’re planning on travelling to Dublin to see Garth Brooks.

Leighann won’t be travelling to Croke Park for Brooks’ second gig as her sister-in-law is due to give birth on the day.

Speaking on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM, Leighann said they have a plan to keep their guests happy – by creating a Garth Brooks wedding theme.

“We’re looking into getting a Garth Brooks tribute band for the following night of our wedding,” she explained.

“If we can’t go to him, we will bring him to us,” she told Ian Dempsey.

Leighann is a huge fan of the country singer – and is devastated that she can’t make his Croke Park concerts.

Indeed, it is thanks to Garth that she met her husband-to-be Graham.

“The last time Garth Brooks was here was actually the year I met my fiancé. He always sings ‘The River’ to me because of it,” the mum-of-two explained.

And in keeping with the Garth Brooks, theme  Leighann plans on making a few other small details.

“We decided to change the table numbers to the name of (Garth Brooks) songs and we’re going to try and get a big cardboard cut-out of him,” she said.
