U2 lead singer Bono joined Bruce Springsteen onstage for his second Dublin gig at Croke Park last night.

The Irish singer came onstage just after 9.15pm.

Bono sang with Springsteen for a rendition of "Because the Night", which Springsteen penned with Patti Smith.

Earlier, Bono was seen arriving at the gig by fans along with bandmates the Edge and Larry Mullen.

Springsteen's first gig at Croke Park on Friday night was deemed a resounding success, though a number of fans reported their disappointment by the sound at the Dublin stadium.

The 66-year-old icon has been enjoying his downtime in Dublin in between the two gigs entertaining some 160,000 fans.

The Boss went bowling Saturday evening in the Leisureplex bowling alley in Stillorgan, Dublin.

Earlier on Saturday, he popped into The Long Hall pub on South Great George's Street for a pint, much to fellow punters' delight.
