VV Brown has been revealed as one of the support acts for Pink's UK tour this summer.

The quirky singer, 26, will be joined by US acts Hockey and Butch Walker on the Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour, which kicks off at Sunderland's Stadium Of Light on June 11 and ends at the Wireless Festival in London on July 2.

VV was ecstatic about the news, saying: "I'm so excited to be part of such an innovative tour. Pink is such an amazing artist and her tour is so unique. I'm happy that she decided to go with us. I can't wait to meet her. She seems lovely and very hands on. I'm very excited!"

Pink will perform alone at the Isle Of Wight festival on June 12, while Hockey will not perform in Sunderland and VV will be exempt from the gig at Bolton's Reebok Stadium on June 11. Only Hockey will support the So What singer at the Wireless Festival.

The other gigs - the Liberty Stadium in Swansea on June 23, Coventry's Ricoh Arena on June 24, Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 25, Alton Towers in Staffordshire on June 27 and the Portman Road stadium in Ipswich on June 28 - will include all the support acts.

Tickets for all concerts are now on sale at the Ticketmaster, SeeTickets and Ticketline websites.
