A GROUP of sewer workers from London have released the web’s worst Gangnam style cover yet – as they remind people not to flush turkey fat down their sink at Christmas.

With editing which would make a Transition Year film studies class cringe, the sewer men sing their own version of the lyrics with the overly familiar backing track.

They attempt sing: “If you flush it, then we see it, we really do, yeah, we really do”.

“All your wet wipes, your cooking fat it blocks down here, hey, and needs to be cleared, hey. Blocking up sewers and for us that’s a pain”, they continue.

The bizarrely hypnotic chant was uploaded by the official Thames Water YouTube account earlier this week, and is described as “a bit of festive fun with a serious message.”

However they add: “The tunelessness of the Sewermen's singing is inversely proportional to their determination to put an end to sewer abuse”.

The video is the latest terrible cover of the already terrible song to hit the web – last week an American High school's attempt to raise school spirit with their own cover gained almost 1.5m views on YouTube.
