Police said they will not be investigating the shock death of David Gest earlier this year, as newspaper reports suggest he died of natural causes.
The 62-year-old music producer's death was originally treated as "unexplained" when he was found dead on April 12 in his five-star London hotel room but Scotland Yard now confirmed it is now treated as "non-suspicious".
According to The Sun, Gest, who was previously married to Liza Minnelli, died of a stroke.
The newspaper reports that Gest's US attorney Edward Bearman confirmed: "I've been told David died from a stroke."
Gest became a household name in 2002 after marrying Minnelli in a lavish ceremony that included Michael Jackson as best man and Elizabeth Taylor as maid of honour.
The relationship lasted just 18 months and there followed an acrimonious divorce battle, although the final settlement took place outside court.
He gained a following in the UK after multiple appearances on British reality TV shows including I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother.
The former music manager is understood to have spent half a year living at the Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf and had not been seen for the two days prior to his body being found.
According to reports, he had been suffering from ill health for several months and was taking medication to treat pneumonia at the time of his death.
He was preparing for a tour of the UK in a musical show called David Gest Is Not Dead, But Alive With Soul, named after a misunderstanding between Celebrity Big Brother contestants when he was mistakenly feared dead in the house.
