Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee as Jedward help out for charity

POP STARS Jedward have been getting into character to show their charitable side.

The 21-year-old twins joined forces with a host of British faces for the UK's annual BBC Children in Need campaign.

Posing for the cameras with six other celebrities, the hair-raising pair dressed up as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee for an 'Alice in Wonderland' themed photoshoot to promote Asda's support for the campaign.

The British store is donating funds from special baking products for the cause.

The Dublin-born 'Luminous' singers were delighted to join with such fellow celebrities as Girls Aloud member Kimberly Wyatt as the White Rabbit, reality star Danielle Lloyd as the Doormouse and soap star Jorgie Porter, who styled herself as Alice in Wonderland. The English actress Emily Atack featured as a female Mad Hatter.

A number of events are taking place across the UK to support this year's Children in Need campaign.

Jedward rose to fame after featuring in the sixth series of 'The X Factor' in 2009.
