Tom Jones is to play an intimate gig to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Mencap's Little Noise Sessions.

Paolo Nutini and Hurts will also help raise cash for the learning disability charity by performing at one of this year's concerts held at the Union Chapel in Islington, north London.

Welsh legend Tom will kick off proceedings on November 15 with a set from his latest album Praise & Blame - and organisers have promised some "special guests" will provide the support on the night.

Paolo will be joined by new pop-soul singer Rumer and up-and-coming south London star Michael Kiwanuka on November 16, while the UK's fastest-selling new band Hurts will perform on November 17 with support from Clare Maguire and Joe Worricker.

Paolo said: "I respect what the charity is about and am pleased to part of the Little Noise Sessions."

Hurts added: "We are delighted to play a part in the Little Noise Sessions. Mencap does so much to help and support people with a learning disability, their families and carers. Long may it continue to do so".
