Timberlake returns with wife Biel for Park gig
GRAMMY award-winning singer Justin Timberlake has touched down on Irish soil with his Hollywood wife Jessica Biel.
The US star and his other half are residing at the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin. Timberlake has become a regular visitor to Irish shores since embarking on a solo career in 2002, making several stopovers here over the past decade.
This is Ms Biel's second time in the Irish capital. She last jetted in to attend the premiere of 'Total Recall', alongside Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale, in August 2012.
Sources told the Irish Independent the pair have been spending quality time together in between Timberlake's sound checks yesterday and spent the morning working out in the hotel's gym.
Timberlake (32) will kick off three concerts at the Phoenix Park over the coming days, with The Killers and Mumford & Sons taking to the stage as headliners on Saturday and Sunday. British acts Jessie J and 'X Factor' winner James Arthur have been lined up to support Timberlake. To avoid any reoccurrence of last year's violence at a Swedish House Mafia gig, where six people were stabbed, more than 200 gardai will be on duty.
Gardai will work alongside 125 concert stewards.
Organisers are also adopting a zero tolerance policy on alcohol being smuggled on to the site and will implement a series of security checks at the main entry points.
There will be a number of road closures in the surrounding area from as early as 4pm this evening, with Dublin's Castleknock Road from Ashtown Gate to its junction with Navan Road closed until midnight.
