Ticketmaster saves the day for Police fans

FOUR Police fans whose concert tickets flew out of the window of a speeding train were walking on the moon when a Ticketmaster agent took the sting out of the ordeal.

Heather Vesey (32), Alison McGonagle (32), Caroline Kane (33) and Elaine Costello (32), left on the 10.45am train from Waterford to Heuston Station in Dublin on Saturday, for the concert at Croke Park.

But just over an hour into their journey, the group and their tickets became separated.

Heather, from Tramore in Co Waterford, who had been minding the tickets for months, was devastated.

However, quick-thinking Heather managed to contact Ticketmaster in Dublin to see if anything could be done.

And luckily, a helpful operator at the Grafton St office was able to re-issue the tickets immediately.

"Ticketmaster were great; they told us to just come along," added Heather.
