The festive spirit rocks on as Performance 2010 gets underway

Music promoter, Paddy Fogarty is for the 6th year running staging a Performance Festival on December 27th.

The event will showcase 100 bands playing in Whelan’s’ and the Village on Wexford Street, Dublin.

The day show is family orientated and will run from 11am till 6pm and the night performance will run for over 18s from 7pm – 2.30am.

Accoring to organisers there will be a mix of acts with themed stages including acoustic, indie, electronic, metal, pop, folk, county, rap.

In addition to this there will be music clinics and workshops running throughout the day. The 40 minute sessions relate to sound engineering, drums, guitar, djing, bass and social Networking.

Many of the acts are already signed up for the 27th, including Idle Time, the Echoes, Daragh Cullen, Out of Nowhere and for the evening performances; Mark Greaney from JJ72, Donal Quinn, JB & the Bandits, Chocolate Orange along with other acts.
