The Enemy are to headline a free gig at the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour.

The Coventry rockers will play an exclusive show for 2,500 competition winners in London's Earls Court 2 on March 11, and they're joined by England striker Wayne Rooney to welcome the solid 18-carat gold trophy to the UK.

Frontman Tom Clarke said: "We're really looking forward to it - it's a bit different from your usual gig and it's not every day you get the chance to get up close to the FIFA World Cup Trophy."

Kid British and K'Naan are also on the bill, and will perform Wavin' Flag - Coca-Cola Celebration Mix, the African inspired anthem of the 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign.

The World Cup Trophy tour started at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, on September 21, and is now over halfway through its epic journey, as it heads towards South Africa for the World Cup, which kicks off in June 11.
