Tempah: Hope my music helps fans
Tinie Tempah has said how proud he feels when fans tell him his music has helped them through difficult times.
The Children Of The Sun singer is the face of a new anti-bullying campaign CN Buddy Network, and revealed his fans often tell him how his music has helped them overcome being bullied.
Tinie, 26, said: "The one thing that's really great, after a show I tend to do meet and greets where I meet like 50 to 200 different people who came to watch the show. Most of them are really young, and bullying is not always the consistent issue, there's so many different things.
"But it's nice to know my music, they tend to say makes them feel happy, makes them feel they can be whatever they want to be.
"And I think music does that anyway to be quite honest. If it's not me, it will be someone else who gives you that feelings, and I'm just happy that I can be that for someone, or for a group of people."
The singer revealed it meant a lot to him to take part in a campaign focused on young people.
He said: "I've been doing this for quite a while now, but I'm still relatively young. I still remember my school days, I remember my college days.
"I know that there's a whole generation who are still growing up, who I'm a similar age group to, who I can help. I'm always a little bit more passoonate about things relating to youth."
