Take that Miley... Lily Allen attacks raunchy popstars in new music video
Lily Allen is back on the scene and she has a message.
The singer’s new video, ‘Hard Out Here’, pokes fun at the way women are portrayed in the industry as sex objects.
The 28-year-old ‘does a Rihanna’ as she is dressed in a raunchy outfit and dances alongside scantily-clad girls.
The singer also has a message for controversial popstar Miley Cyrus as she takes part in ample twerking and gyrating.
There’s another dig at the former Hannah Montana as Lily and her dancers smoke ‘E-Lites’ in synchronisation.
Mocking hip-hop materialism, the singer chants, “I won’t be bragging ‘bout my cars, or talking about my chains” as she’s surrounded by dancers throwing dollar bills around the set.
Lily sent a message to her fans online yesterday following the video’s release.
“I am honestly on the verge of tears,” she wrote, “So overwhelmed by your feedback. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
The video was premiered online after her three years away from the music industry as she focused on being a mum.
