Take That album is UK's fastest-selling of century
Take That's new album 'Progress' released this week is the fastest-selling of the century in Britain, according to the Official Charts Company.
The record, which also features Robbie Williams, has sold more than 235,000 copies on its first day.
The opening figure accounts for sales up until the end of Monday, and is the highest first-day tally since 'Be Here Now' by the British band Oasis sold 424,000 in 1997.
Take That and Robbie Williams, who also forged a successful solo career, have sold more than 80 million albums between them.
