Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood wants to swap places with Simon Cowell.
Talking to Amanda Holden and Gok Wan on This Morning, he said: "I'll say this on national TV, I'll happily swap places, I'll go on the X Factor, if Simon Cowell comes on Strictly."
He also revealed he'd like to see former X Factor host Dermot O'Leary appear as a contestant on the show.
Revel Horwood will soon be taking to the stage as Miss Hannigan in Annie, the musical.
When Holden asked him about a same sex couple appearing on Strictly this year, he said: "I agree, I did say this last week, I was rather hoping, it'd be great to have a same sex couple. I doubt it'll happen this year, but I'd love it to happen this year."
He spoke frankly about the first few years on the show and the public's sometimes adverse reaction to him.
"I have to say, the first two years was quite frightening because people were quite abusive and didn't get my fabulous wit and humour."
"But I think certainly people have grown to appreciate my comments now. Actually, now I'm treated rather well on the streets."
"I mean, yes, I have been hit by 80-year-olds and I've had trolleys pushed into the back of my legs in a supermarket! But if we're taking a survey darling, I'd say 60% like and 40% don't!"
"But I have to thank the wonderful British public for naming me Mr Nasty, because now I've been playing wonderful, evil parts from Captain Hook to Miss Hannigan in Annie, which I'm absolutely loving!"
