Stacey Solomon and Happy Mondays wildman Shaun Ryder are set to perform a duet at the National Television Awards, according to reports.
The Sun said that the pair, who became friends in the jungle, will open the event at the O2 Arena, which is being shown live on ITV1.
A show source told the newspaper: "They must be seen to be believed. It's like beauty and the beast, it won't be your typical Shaun performance."
Shaun is said to have choreographed some "aerobic dance moves" for the unlikely duet, a rendition of the Happy Mondays' song Step On, which contains the lyrics "you're twisting my melon, man".
The X Factor winner Matt Cardle is also expected to sing at the awards, with the backing of a 40-piece orchestra.
Former X Factor singer Stacey jumped back into the limelight when she won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year, while Shaun came second.
