Snoop records True Blood track
Snoop Dogg has recorded a musical tribute to True Blood's Sookie Stackhouse.
The rapper reveals his soft spot for the mind-reading character played by Anna Paquin in the hit TV show in the three-minute track, titled Oh Sookie - which even has an accompanying music video, New York Magazine reports.
"Oh Sookie, let me get in your head," he raps in the song's chorus.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, also drops rhymes about taking Sookie from Bon Temps to Los Angeles and ordering her a "gin and juice" - his signature drink since 1994's single of the same name - at the True Blood watering hole Merlotte's, as well as a verse about smoking "true bud".
He also competes for Sookie's affections, singing: "We'll do it in the daytime, Bill won't know a thing."
Snoop, who is one of the headline acts at Wireless, is a fan of True Blood and has declared his love for the show before, when he name-checked the show in a verse of his 2009 single Gangsta Love.
