SIMON Cowell has ordered an investigation at label SYCO after One Direction’s comic relief song was leaked online.

The band have covered Blondie’s classic ‘One Way or Another’ as this year’s comic relief song, the proceeds of which go to charity.

Sources at SYCO have expressed their disappointment that the song has been leaked, particularly as the release in for charity – as any sales lost due to the leak will affect good causes.

Band member Louis Tomlinson tweeted: “I hear the charity single has been leaked. Very sad to see. Don't forget together we are trying to raise money for comic relief."

He later tweeted: “Please get behind an incredible charity and make a real difference. You can pre order now from iTunes for the official track. Thank you."

The song’s official release in Ireland in scheduled for next Friday.
