The Scissor Sisters have had to cancel their tour to mainland Europe due to "funding issues."
The New York-based quintet says it "has become impossible to make the tour work financially" but the UK dates are not affected.
The band said in a statement posted on their website that they were "very disappointed, but it is beyond anyone's control."
Refunds will be made for the nine shows in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy.
The Scissor Sisters have become international stars with millions of records sold. Their debut album was released in 2004 and sold over 2.5 million copies, making it the biggest-selling album of the year.
