RIHANNA has announced that she will embark on a world tour in 2013, and that it will be "bigger" than anything she has done before.
She told radio station Capital FM: “We’re going to be going on tour next year, so this year we're spending our time planning to make sure it's bigger than anything we've done and something more impactful, maybe something different, so my fans can get excited about it.”
The singer has also revealed that she has begun work on a new album – her seventh since storming onto the music scene in 2005 - 2008 has been the only year since her debut that she has not released a new record.
It is not yet known whether the Bahama’s native will play and Irish dates on her tour, however Irish fans have reason to be hopeful as the singer is said to have enjoyed her previous concerts in the country, even celebrating Thanksgiving in a Dublin pub last year.
She filmed the video for the massive hit ‘We found love’ in Northern Ireland during her visit – the owner of the field infamously taking offense to the singer’s choice of attire.
The singer has achieved four number ones in Ireland, with 14 of her singles charting in the top 10.
