Radiohead album not yet finished
Radiohead fans could be in for a bit of a wait - their new album might not be ready this year.
The band confirmed last summer that they were going to begin work on a ninth album after a break to pursue solo projects.
Their last album The King Of Limbs was released in 2011.
Now drummer Philip Selway has told Drowned In Sound that the LP is "coming along nicely".
But asked whether it will be out this year, he said: "I wouldn't want to start to predict that kind of thing in a Radiohead schedule because you can find yourself six months down the line saying 'I wish I hadn't have said that actually!'.
He added: "We worked throughout the autumn up to just before Christmas, and now we're just taking some time away for other projects.
"We'll get back to it in March and we'll make an assessment of where we are then, but we've been excited about what we've been doing so far. It's by no means finished yet, so we've got a way to go. It's been a productive time though."
Last year frontman Thom Yorke released a surprise new solo album, bypassing record labels and download stores to sell it directly to fans.
