Pop legend Lulu mimics Lady GaGa
Lulu has gone Gaga - as she mimics a present day chart queen.
The Shout singer dressed as Bad Romance chart-topper Lady Gaga as she prepares to go on tour.
Lulu, 61, posed for Hello! but said in an interview with the magazine that modern chart sensations would be unable to get by on talent alone.
The Scottish singer - who had her first top ten hit with Shout in 1964 at the age of 15 - revealed she is a big fan of Gaga.
"She has a great voice and is a brilliant songwriter. I love her music and her image.
"But I don't think anyone would have paid her any attention if it weren't for her outrageous image," she said.
"That's how far performers have to go these days. Every minute she must be thinking about her next statement. She's very clever because there's a stream of people desperate to be famous."
Lulu, who had a new burst of fame when she topped the charts with Take That on Relight My Fire, also posed as a number of other stars including Ziggy Stardust-era David Bowie.
She said she is happily single at the moment saying: "I go out with different men but I'm happy not to be in a relationship.
"I used to think the right person hadn't come along but now I realise I'm not with a man because deep down I don't really want to be," Lulu added.
