Pixie Lott's pizza gigs deep-panned
Pixie Lott has upset some of her fans by charging almost £100 to see her perform in a pizza restaurant - and that doesn't even include food.
The Lay Me Down singer - who recently took part in Strictly Come Dancing - has announced a string of "intimate" shows at Pizza Express in London.
Tickets for the gigs range in price from £35 for second level standing, £57 for standing and "premium" seats costing £99.
The description on website Ticketmaster reveals guests will have to pay extra for food and drink at the venue, which holds up to 300 people.
It reads: "A wide range of PizzaExpress' most popular dishes will be available to order as well as drinks and cocktails. Tickets do not include food or drink. Early booking is strongly recommended."
Some of Pixie's fans are not happy about the price, with one Instagram follower saying they are "OTT expensive!"
One tweeted: "@PixieLott @PizzaExpress Why are tickets £99? What fan can afford that?!"
And another said: "@PixieLott @PizzaExpress please please please make the tickets cheaper or something, it's sooooo expensive."
However, other fans said they couldn't wait to see the star perform.
"@GBisp @PixieLott @PizzaExpress What?! I'm there!!" tweeted one follower.
Pixie, 24, will play the four shows at Pizza Express, The Strand, in March.
