Oxegen report: 90 arrests, 308 drug seizures but no traffic jams
Gardai arrested 90 people and made 308 drug seizures over the Oxegen festival weekend.
The arrests comprised of 21 public order offences; 28 drug dealing; 8 assaults; 12 thefts; 3 road traffic offences; 15 drunken driving incidents and three unspecified offences.
A total of 280 people were arrested for possession of drugs and there was a total of 252 presumptive drug tests carried out on site between Thursday and today, gardai said.
Over the weekend 1,450 drivers were breath tested at Mandatory Alcohol Testing checkpoints which led to the arrest of 14 people for suspected drink driving.
Most music fans were well behaved and the park and ride facility meant there was no significant traffic congestion around the racecourse at Punchestown.
