THE ORIGINAL line up of the Sugababes has confirmed their reunion after months of speculation that the group were to reunite.

The line up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy confirmed the reunion in a series of posts on Twitter this morning.

“I think we should tell the world. WE'RE BACK!!!” Buena tweeted. “It's been killing us to keep it secret any longer!” Donaghy tweeted.

The group confirmed they will release new music under the name ‘Mutya Keisha Siobhan’, which they registered as a trademark last month.

Buchanan told Popjustice about when the original trio first got back together: “To be honest with you it wasn't an instant thing. When we were younger we gelled straight away, but we had to learn to blend with each other again”, she said.

She also said how she felt betrayed by her exclusion from the current line up of the Sugabaes, of which she was the last original member: “To be honest with you I was very hurt and disappointed and I did feel betrayed by the whole thing. But I feel like when you don't forgive people and when you're very bitter it's not really doing anything for you,” she said.

The newly reformed line up plan to release new music later this year.
