One Direction's Niall Horan to give baby godson Theo the best seat in the house for Croke Park concerts
When your godfather is in the most famous boyband on the planet it goes without saying that you will receive star treatment.
The 10-month-old nephew of One Direction singer Niall Horan will have the best seat in the house when the chart-topping group touch down in Dublin later this month.
Baby Theo is the son of Mullingar man Niall’s brother Greg, and the tot will get the chance to go backstage at Croke Park for the sold-out 1D gigs.
“The entire family will be there to support Niall over the few days that the concerts are on,” Greg told the Herald.
“It’s going to be extremely special for everyone, but my dream is for Niall to take a picture with Theo on stage – even when the stadium is empty, so he can say he was on one of the biggest stages in the world with his Godfather.
“That would be a memory to cherish forever,” he said.
Niall and his bandmates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne, will take over GAA headquarters for three nights from May 23 to 25.
Greg says it will be an emotional night for the 20-year-old ‘Story of My Life’ singer, who has dreamt of such an instance since he was a young child.
“I’d say Niall would do Croker every year if he could.
“He’s hardly ever been there before either, so he’s really looking forward to it all and it is definitely a goal of his to play there.”
