Friday May 9

The best party band in the country leads a special night of Irish music to benefit Marriage Equality. Le Galaxie slayed crowds at Electric Picnic, Forbidden Fruit, Meeting House Square and The Olympia recently. As the band prepare to release their second album later in the year, they've put together a fine lineup of some of the best new dance-oriented acts in Ireland right now.

Angel Olsen @ Dublin, cork and Belfast (€14/€13/€11)

Friday June 6 – Sunday June 8

The last time this Chicago-based singer toured Ireland last year she beguiled all in front of her with her bewitching songs and her idiosyncratic folk voice. This time, she returns on the back of the release of her career-best album Burn Your Fire For No Witness featuring devastating acoustic numbers, full vintage rock and poignant country-folk. She plays Whelans on the 6th, Triskel Christchurch on the 7th and McHugh's on the 8th.

Lana Del Rey @ The Marquee, Cork (€45)

Tuesday July 15

The sultry starlet with the forgotten prom queen style has returned with a new single West Coast, and news of a new album Ultraviolent on the way. She sold 50,000 copies of her debut album so there's a good chance you'll want to witness her faded glamour high drama for yourself.
