'Next stop - my home show' - One Direction's Niall Horan sends special message to Irish fans ahead of Croke Park gig
Niall Horan sent a message to his Irish fans on twitter last night, revealing his excitement for 1D’s upcoming Croke Park gigs.
The band performed their last South American show in Brazil on Sunday night, and will now enjoy a couple of weeks relaxing before their world stadium tour resumes in Dublin later this month.
Last night Niall tweeted about his ‘home show’.
"Love you lots ! great way to start the 'where we are ' tour! Next stop my home show! Can't believe I'm saying this! 'Croke park' baby ! Xxxx"
The band have been enjoying their time in South America. Yesterday, a message posted on the band's official Instagram account along with a picture of Harry, Louis and Zayn, read ‘South America - you've been incredible! Next stop is Ireland! #WWATour’
Harry Styles was raving about his experiences.
"South America, you have been absolutely incredible. I have fallen in love with you. Hope to see you again soon. H."
The first time Niall visited Croke Park was for his 2010 X Factor audition - and his life has changed beyond all recognition since.
This is the band's first stadium tour and Croke Park will be their biggest show to date.
Their South American concerts held between 50,000 and 65,000 fans, while Croke Park will hold over 80,000. Close to a quarter of a million Irish fans will watch the boyband over three nights.
The concerts have let to a massive garda security and traffic operation being put in place.
One Direction play three sold-out nights in Croke Park on May 23rd,24th and 25th.
