Naughty Boy: I'm too busy for album

Naughty Boy has revealed his second album is on hold, because he's just too busy.

The 29-year-old, whose real name is Shahid Khan, admitted he hasn't found time to think about the follow-up to his 2013 debut, Hotel Cabana, because he has been inundated with work.

"I've got my next single coming out in July. After that, I may need to go to one of those spas in Thailand and get rejuvenated spiritually and wait for the voice of God before I start making it," he joked.

"I'm working with One Direction so if I can do that, Emeli Sande's new album and maybe something with Chaka Khan, then it's a good year."

The La La La hitmaker is producing a track for Lynx's Make Beats Not War campaign, which features Professor Green, Laura Mvula and Wilkinson.

"I've got all the bits from everyone, and now is where I bring it together. I'm confident it will all come together and some magic will occur," he explained.

He "handpicked" the stars themselves: "I immediately thought a rapper, a singer and someone musical to add a new element. I thought of Professor Green because it would be interesting for the public to hear from him again, because he's been away making his album. He's my going out, party buddy.

"I've always wanted to work with Laura so it was a good opportunity to reach out to her and Wilkinson is a drum and bass guy."

Naughty Boy revealed the song could have featured Chaka Khan.

"I had a phone call from Chaka Khan last week, believe it or not, so I would have loved her on it," he said. "She wants to work with me and there's a song from my album that she'd like to do. It was pretty mad, Chaka Khan phoning me out of the blue."
