The sun has made a welcome appearance at Body & Soul this afternoon as the party kicks back into full swing.

The festival, which is just as famous for its focus on well-being as music, has been a resident in Westmeath for eight years now - and is on the verge of selling out again, with only a limited number of tickets left for tomorrow.

Close to 15,000 revelers descended on Ballinlough Castle and most were in no mood to let the party of last night take its toll, as they went at it again for day two, with just as much vigour.

And just as fashionable too.

But what is it about festivals and colourful clothing, glitter and paint?

"You can't do it everyday, so you've just got to wear what you wanna wear and when you have the opportunity go for it," Laura Ridgeway (25) from Offaly explained - wearing a full silver body suit and silver glittered everywhere else.

"It's part of the whole experience, dressing up," she added.

Though the experience could potentially travel all the way into her working week.

Her pal, Katie Haugh (26) suspects it will take some time to get the glitter out from her hair.

Outside of mindfulness, yoga and a host of music and comedy acts, there were still quite a few things to keep you going.

"We're excited for Bingo-Loco later," Laura said.

"We liked the Singalong Social as well - she's on a stage and plays all cheesy kinds of music," Katie explained.

Tonight the Sleaford Mods, Bonobo and La Femme are stand out.

While King Kong Company play at midnight, before jetting off for the Glastonbury Festival.
