X Factor winner Sam Bailey dropped by Simon Cowell's label Syco after just 14 months
Sam Bailey has been dropped by Simon Cowell's label Syco after just 14 months, according to reports.
Bailey (37) won The X Factor in 2013 and her debut single Skyscraper and album The Power of Love both went to number one.
She also released an autobiography to share her incredible story with fans.
"It was really important to me because I wanted my fans and everyone to see how far I have come and understand that it really hasn't been an easy ride for me to get where I am today," she told the Belfast Telegraph.
Shortly after she won the reality show she revealed she was pregnant with her third child with husband Craig and she gave birth to a baby girl in December.
The former prison guard does not seem too perturbed by the parting from Syco, however. She told The Sun, "I'm happy I got my house extension. That's what I entered the competition for."
She also revealed she would like to appear in Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC and "maybe get into acting".
Little Mix, last year's winner Ben Haenow, and runner-up Fleur East are all still signed to Syco.
