Almost a year after he trounced Fleur East to win The X Factor 2014, Ben Haenow has finally announced his debut album.
His self-titled debut will release on November 13 but in the meantime he'll release his first single, 'Second Hand Heart' which is bolstered by the vocals of Kelly Clarkson.
Clarkson knows a thing or two about winning TV talent shows having be crowned American Idol back in 2002.
"The idea of a feature wasn't on the cards at firs tbut when I heard the vocals on it, I was blown away as it gave hte song a whole new dimension," said Ben of the collaboration.
"[Kelly's] voice is insane. It's incredible."
Clarkson, meanwhile, said the single is "right up my alley".
There won't be a UK duet any time soon, however, as Clarkson has cancelled her Canadian and UK and Ireland tour having been told to rest her vocals.
"Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as soon as possible," she wrote on her official Facebook account on Monday.
Haenow is signed to Simon Cowell's label Syco and despite winning the competition he shares the label with runner-up Fleur East who is also gearing up for her debut album release.
She spent the summer in LA recording and Cowell has described the album as "world class".
