Often when the raw mic feed of a singer is leaked it reveals flaws that might have gone unnoticed in the performance.

Not so with Adele.  The raw mic feed from her SNL performance of her latest hit 'Hello' leaked and her voice is as phenomenal unaccompanied as it is with all the bells and whistles.

The performance, which aired just a day after her highly anticipated new album '25' released on Friday, was breathtaking.

The album is on course to be one of the UK's best-selling albums in one week after it reached 300,000 sales by midnight on its first day.

25 is Adele's third album. Her first, 19, sold 73,000 copies in the first week and her second, 21, sold 208,000.

As part of her appearance on SNL, which was hosted by Matthew McConaughey (who impersonated her for one sketch), she also sang 'When We Were Young', another song from her new album.

She's been doing the publicity rounds this past week and appeared on 'Adele At The BBC', presented by Graham Norton, disguised as an Adele impersonator.
