The video for One Direction's new single, Drag Me Down, has been released much to the delight of avid Directioners.


It's their first music video since Zayn departed in March and it features the four remaining members, Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall as astronauts heading into outer space.

Apparently the lads teamed up with NASA at the Space Center in Houston, Texas, to make the ambitious video.

Drag Me Down was a surprise release from the lads and it hit number one on the iTunes chart in less than an hour after it was released, making it the fasted song to hit number one on the chart ever.

Earlier this month Zayn tweeted his approval of the song, "Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. :) x"

Of course fans have had #DragMeDownMusicVideo trending on Twitter and will likely continue to do so all day.  They're currently trying to break the record for the most views on Vevo.
