Australia has finally chosen the tune Guy Sebastian will sing to represent his homeland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

The first ever Australian Idol winner was a controversial choice, with some fans branding him 'dull', but the song he'll be singing is an upbeat track perfect for the contest.

He won Idol back in 2003 and has since released seven studio albums, and judged on The X Factor Australia.

Sebastian will perform Tonight Again in Vienna, Austria on May 23, where Australia will compete in the competition for the first time having been invited to participate to the mark the 60th anniversary.

He won't have to endure semi-finals, however, as Australia has been granted a slot in the final along with Spain, Italy, France, Germany and the UK.

Ireland's entry, Molly Sterling, will have to compete in the semi-finals to bag her place in the final with her song Playing with Numbers.
