Viva Forever: A Spice Girls reunion (almost) happened at David Beckham's 40th birthday bash
David's wife Victoria Beckham brought the iconic girl group back together in Morocco - but Mel B was nowhere to be seen.
As Posh, Baby, Sporty and Ginger Spice partied in Marrakech, rumours are rife that a reunion is on the cards.
Victoria Beckham, who has since become a respected fashion designer, invited her former bandmates Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm to the VIP bash thrown in honour of David's milestone birthday.
However, Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown, was nowhere to be seen.
In her place was none other than A lister Eva Longoria, a close friend of Victoria.
The Hollywood actress evidently bonded with the former popstars, as she shared photos of Emma and Mel with the caption "too much fun".
It seems that X Factor judge Mel B was unable to attend as she is preparing for a new season of America's Got Talent.
The outspoken star insisted that she still keeps in touch with her fellow Spice Girls, as she told E! News she phones and texts the others a lot.
"I was just Facetiming Geri the other day, she's about to get married so we're going to go over to England for her wedding."
She also recently described the group as "one big, happy family."
