U2 spotted out and about - and having some scoops - ahead of Dublin gigs
Several members of U2 were seen out and about in Dublin’s city centre over the weekend as they geared up to take to the stage in the 3Arena tonight.
Guitarist Edge was spotted enjoying a meal with his wife Morleigh Steinberg at the new Luna restaurant on Drury Street on Saturday night.
The pair were joined later on in the night by U2’s charismatic frontman Bono, who seemed to be in flying form as he enjoyed a few drinks with his pals, including Simon Carmody.
A Diary mole said they were all in relaxed form as they kicked back in the trendy new venue.
“A couple of the customers spotted the lads alright – there was lots of nudging when Bono walked in.
“But they were more or less left to themselves to enjoy their meal.
“Nobody was going up bothering them by asking for photographs or autographs.
“It was all very relaxed, which is probably why they like it so much,” she said.
U2 posted a pic to their official Facebook on Sunday of four pints lined up on a table at Peter's Pub on South William Street. They captioned the pic, "The boys are back in town #U2ieTour".
Bono was also spotted in Luna three weeks ago with his very best friend Guggi as they took over a secluded booth in the Italian-style venue.
They were also seen in the ultra-hip Red Bank Wine bar not so long ago, which has been tipped to host their after-show party this Friday as their world concerttour to promote the album Songs Of Innocence finally draws to a close.
Tonight sees the stars playing the first of four sell-out concerts in their Innocence and Experience tour, which has been receiving rave reviews.
