U2 have released the official tracklist for Songs of Experience, a new single from the album, and a series of North American tour dates.

Songs of Experience will feature 13 new songs including the second single, Get Our Of Your Own Way, which is out now.  The first single You're The Best Thing About Me was released on September 6 and the track The Blackout was released as a performance video in August.

As well as the track list, Live Nation has announced North American dates for the eXPERIOENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour, kicking off on May 2.  Further tour dates will be announced early next year.

Bono has revealed that the album was influenced by Brendan Kennelly's advice to "write as if you're dead" and the result is a series of songs in the form of letters to people and places close to his heart.

Produced by Jacknife Lee and Ryan Tedder, with Steve Lillywhite, Andy Barlow and Jolyon Thomas, the album features a cover image by Anton Corbijn of band-members’ teenage children Eli Hewson and Sian Evans.
