Ever fancied performing alongside U2? Well, now is your chance, kind of...

Clips of fans singing along to 'The Miracle (of Joey Ramone) from 'Songs of Innocence' will be added to the band's performance of the song on The Tonight Show next week.

You don't have to be able to actually sing, however, as host Jimmy Fallon has asked U2 fans to submit videos of themselves lip-synching the song.

The clips will then be added to the live performance next week as the band kicks off its week long residency on the show.

The clips can be uploaded on YouTube entitled 'Tonight Show U2 Lip Sync' or via the 'Challenges' section of The Tonight Show app.

The band is signed up to perform on the show every night during the week of November 17, following in the footsteps of bands like The Foo Fighters, who recently had a residency on Letterman, and Metallica, who will play the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson for the week U2 play Fallon.

As well as singing, all four band members will take part in comedy sketches too.
