Monday's sold out Erasure concert in Dublin's Olympia Theatre has been postponed until March.

The notice comes just hours before the band were due to take to the stage.

The concert was postponed due to illness, according to concert promoters MCD.

All tickets for tonight's show will remain valid for the rescheduled date on March 13, 2018.

Erasure are also scheduled to perform this Tuesday and Wednesday at the Olympia.

Both concerts will go ahead as scheduled.

MCD said a further update will be issued tomorrow.

Erasure and MCD apologise for the inconvenience caused.
