That Sting and Shaggy album is really happening - here's their first song together

Sting and Shaggy have released the first song from their album and those are words I never thought I'd write.

They've recorded an entire reggae album together, 44/876, and it lands on 4/20.  The first track is called Don't Make Me Wait.

Here it is:

Process.

According to Rolling Stone the two artists ended up working together because of Sting's manager Martin Kierszenbaum who had previously been Shaggy's A&R man.

Kierszenbaum was working with Shaggy on the new track on day when he sent it to Sting, who loved it, and arrived down to the studio to give his input.

An entire album ensued.

Now they have a pretty solid bromance with Shaggy calling Sting 'the god' and Sting calling Shaggy 'the pope of Jamaica'.

This is real life.
