It's like someone proposing to their partner on the day of your wedding.

Taylor Swift has announced some very big news today, on the same day her music rival Katy Perry releases her new album Witness.

Three years after she boycotted Spotify, Swift is releasing all of her music on streaming channels including Spotify, Tidal and Amazon.

Her management took to Twitter to make the announcement, which stated her entire back catalogue will land at midnight tonight (June 9).

"In celebration of 1989 selling over 10 million albums worldwide and the RIAA's 100 million song certification announcement, Taylor wants to thank her fans by making her entire back catalogue available to all streaming services tonight at midnight," they wrote.

It just happens to be the day that Katy releases Witness and tickets for her UK tour go on sale.

It's the latest chapter in their long-running feud which kicked off when Taylor's dancers left her tour to dance with Katy and she wrote the song Bad Blood about her former friend.

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour," she told Rolling Stone, "She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."

Perry has taken to Twitter on several occasions to make statements which appear to relate to Swift, most notably in 2014 when she wrote, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” which everyone considered a response to the song."

Most recently, the lyrics of Swish Swish, Katy's new track which features Nicki Minaj, appeared to diss Taylor.

In the first verse, Katy sings, "From a selfish or a sheep, don't you come for me" and "You’re calculated. I got your number, ‘Cause you’re a joker. And I’m a courtside killer queen. And you will kiss the ring.”

Some believe 'Swish swish' could mean 'Swift Swift'.
